Prostate Cancer in the 21st Century

by Dr. Radu Dragos-Viorel

Prostate cancer is the most common male malignancy and is the leading cause of death for men over 75.
Every 3 minutes, a man is diagnosed with this disease – and every 17 minutes, a man dies from it.
In the early stages, prostate cancer is asymptomatic and can be discovered incidentally during rectal examinations. Regular check-ups and screening can help diagnose it in its early stages and increase the chances of survival.
Enrich your knowledge about men’s health with Dr. Radu Dragos-Viorel, attending physician in urology at “Dr. C. I. Parhon” Hospital, Iași, who will present the severity and evolution of this disease in the 21st century.
