Since 1975, the American Psychological Association has called on psychologists to help remove the stigma of mental illness that has long surrounded the LGBTQ community.
Even today, it is widely discussed whether homosexuality is a mental disorder, although it has been proven that there is no association between sexual orientation and psychopathology.
Join us to discuss what role and psychological impact prejudice and discrimination plays in the lives of the LGBTQ community and hear about recent studies on this important issue with Dr. Lorelei Caraman.

NOTICES
1. In order to receive your participation certificate, you must apply via the link below. If you do not apply, you may participate, but won’t receive a certificate.
2. EMSA and non-EMSA Members are welcome to attend the conference.
3. For our EMSA Members, the certificates are free. For non-EMSA members, the certificates are 5 lei.
4. Deadline to apply (to receive your cerificate): Thrs 5/11 – 14:00.
5. Following your application, you are expected to show up – if not, you will be banned from attending any events by EMSA Iasi.
6. You must have a Microsoft Teams account (with an UMF Iasi domain) in order to join the conference, to which you will be added in due time.
7. We will start the call 15 mins before the scheduled time.
8. As the maximum number of attendees is 250, only those selected will be added to the Microsoft Teams group in due time. If you haven’t been added, your application was outside of the 250 limit and you will unfortunately not be able to attend.
