Future Sight: Addressing Computer Vision Syndrome in a Digital World

by Prof. Dr. Camelia Margareta Bogdanici and Assist. Univ. Dr. Irina Andrea Pavel

Computer Vision Syndrome is a condition resulting from prolonged exposure to screens, leading to symptoms like headaches, eye fatigue, blurred vision, and neck pain.

As our dependence on digital tools increases, computer vision syndrome has become an urgent issue worldwide. The problem is further compounded by poor ergonomics, lack of awareness, and the habitual use of screens even late into the night.

This conference aims to shed light on the growing impact of digital eye strain. Join us on Friday, 22nd of November at 17:30, where Professors Camelia Margareta Bogdănici and Irina Andrea Pavel will help us understand the science behind CVS and learn practical ways to prevent and manage it. Let’s safeguard our vision in an increasingly digital world!
