A Regular Morning in a Pathology Lab

by Assoc. Prof. Simona-Eliza Giusca, MD, PhD; Prof. Dr. Elena Cojocaru; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ludmila Lozneanu

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes before a histological diagnosis is made? Pathologists play a crucial role in medicine, analyzing tissue samples under the microscope to detect diseases, identify cancer subtypes, and guide treatment decisions.

Before any diagnosis can be made, the tissue must go through careful processing, sectioning, and staining—a true blend of science and technique! In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn how histological slides are prepared, from fixation to staining, and get a glimpse into the daily work of a pathologist!

Join us on Sunday, 16th of March, as you’ll uncover the meticulous steps that pathologists take to decode diseases under the microscope. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the secrets of histology firsthand!
